Several postcard-perfect beaches like Gold Rock Beach offer soft, sugar-white sand and plenty of beach bars and restaurants. Shoppers will love the Port Lucaya Marketplace for local crafts, souvenirs, and live musical entertainment.

The dolphin swim is a popular attraction that will leave a lasting impression, or animal and nature lovers can also check out Garden of the Groves, a wildlife center that transports travelers to a tropical oasis full of birds and other native animals. Several tour operators offer eco-travel adventures including kayaking in Peterson Cay National Park, hiking in Lucayan National Park, or exploring some of the island's legendary blue holes and caves.

In the evening, join in music and dance with the bonfire on the beach, a local tradition that takes place in the sand.  With so many options, FunnTripps has sorted through the favorites to present a vetted list of  arguably the 10 best attractions and activities on Grand Bahama Island.  So without further adieu, here are our Top 10 things to see and do while visiting Freeport, Grand Bahama.
